There are 25 properties on the market and we’ve seen a healthy 8 homes receive contracts.  Although the months of inventory is slightly on the buyers’ side of the market pendulum – chances are great that as we approach the summer months, the pendulum will swing more towards a balanced market and possibly into a mild sellers’ market.  According to recent research performed by Dr. Skylar Olsen*, a Senior Economist, the Houston Metropolitan area has a “market magic window of opportunity” where homes sell faster and for more money than the average home price. The peak for Houston is between June 1 and June 15.
