Welcome to Summertime in Houston! Mid-way through 2016, it’s a good news story for the Bay Oaks community real estate market, for sure! Below is a compilation of statistics. If you’re thinking of selling your home – these statistics may help you determine the best market timing.
Bay Oaks currently has 30 homes on the market – and sales activity throughout the first half of the year has kept Bay Oaks in a normal market with 6.7 months of inventory.
When you consider that most upscale neighborhoods across Houston are in a funk – with homes priced $500,000 and above averaging 8.8 months of inventory or a serious buyers’ market, we’re lucky to continue to enjoy normal market activity.
